About the role
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who enjoys automation, practical troubleshooting, and taking responsibility for a production environment. You will maintain cloud infrastructure, improve delivery pipelines, and work closely with developers to make services easier to deploy, monitor, and support. The role is fully remote from within Bulgaria.
Responsibilities
- Provision and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform and reviewed infrastructure code.
- Operate Kubernetes workloads, manage application deployments, and improve environment consistency.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and operational scripts.
- Improve monitoring, logging, and alerting, and investigate infrastructure and application incidents.
- Troubleshoot Linux, networking, and service connectivity issues with developers and other engineers.
- Document operational procedures and reduce manual work through reusable automation.
Requirements
- At least three years of hands-on DevOps, cloud, or platform engineering experience.
- Production experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Strong Linux administration skills, including familiarity with RHEL environments and package management.
- Good knowledge of networking, including DNS, routing, load balancing, NAT, and firewalls.
- Experience with CI/CD, Azure DevOps, Bash scripting, Helm, and GitOps practices.
- Practical knowledge of monitoring and logging, database operations, and web infrastructure such as Nginx or HAProxy.
- Strong English communication skills and the ability to investigate issues independently.
- Availability Monday–Friday during 10:00–19:00; the daily schedule will be confirmed during the interview.
