About the role
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and operate secure cloud environments. You will take ownership of infrastructure code, delivery pipelines, and complex technical investigations, working with software engineers and architects to make production systems reliable and maintainable. This role suits someone who can make sound decisions independently and support colleagues through difficult technical problems.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain Azure infrastructure using Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Build and improve Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and safe, repeatable deployment processes.
- Operate containerized applications and Kubernetes environments, improving scalability and resilience.
- Automate infrastructure changes and support migrations with clear plans and reliable validation.
- Investigate networking, storage, identity, and application infrastructure issues.
- Improve observability, security, and operational efficiency, and share technical guidance with the team.
Requirements
- At least five years of hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or enterprise infrastructure.
- Strong production experience with Microsoft Azure and Terraform.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and working with Git-based review processes.
- Hands-on knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native deployments; AKS experience is valuable.
- Practical Python scripting and cloud automation skills, including familiarity with serverless services.
- Experience with MongoDB in cloud environments and a strong understanding of networking, storage, virtualization, and operating systems.
- The ability to troubleshoot complex incidents independently and communicate clearly in English.
